Project Timeline

We started out by making a simple map. Then we added a character to go through the map. We added a shrink, and grow mechanic for the character after we made it. We then added effects for dying and winning. After that, we added an AI racer to try to win against. Next, we added a menu screen so you could go to different levels. Then we finished the other levels and added a timer to beat the levels.

Proposed Budget

$1.49 per person for the 19 days we had to work on this game and the resources we had to use.

The Menu I made appears when you first enter the game. You can choose between 3 levels to play through. The character you play is a blue robot horse.

I was creative with the art of the horses and thinking of the idea for the game.

I communicated with my team by talking to them and asking them to work on something if they don’t know what to do.

We used Construct 3 and watched YouTube tutorials to learn how to use tools on Construct 3.

I can work better with people and help them if they are struggling to get everyone back on task.

Reactions to the Final Version

Jessica said, “I love the fire on the horses when they move, it really tells you that they’re cars”.

Self-Evaluation of Final Version

The game I made is fun because there are multiple levels to play and you can try to beat your time, every time you replay a level. There are cool effects and cool-looking characters. This is a good game and a variety of players can have a good time playing it.
